Building on its reputation as the data protection leader of the open systems market, Arkeia Software announced support for Oracle Enterprise Linux.

Arkeia Software reiterates that way  its leadership as the broadest supporter for open source operating systems and applications. In addition to Linux, Arkeia supports other open source operating systems including OpenSolaris and the BSD family.

Arkeia Software supports both backup servers and backup agents on 100 Linux platforms, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Open Enterprise Server, Debian, Mandriva, Ubuntu, Slackware, PCLinuxOS, CentOS and Fedora.
